Muh Sheng Museum of Entomology (Taiwan)
Muh Sheng Museum of Entomology is at Puli, located in the center of Taiwan. The museum has numerous specimens like the Butterfly Palace of Taipei Chenggong High School. Its access is not easy compared to that of the high school. However, I would recommend it. I actually enjoyed the museum and its butterfly house. A river near the museum. The museum is not at the center of Puli city so it is surrounded by nature.

Several species of butterflies are flying and their information is shown in the board, written in traditional Chinese (I could not understand). 
Building of the museum. 
Photo taking was prohibited in the specimen area. Most of the specimens were butterflies, as in the case of Taipei Chenggong High School. A rare gynandromorph specimens of butterflies and stag beetles were also exhibited.

Take high speed train from Taipei station. Get off at Taichung station. Take Nantou bus from Taichung station to Puli (埔里). Get off at 牛耳石雕公園.

Puli Brewery is also in Puli area. If you go there, you may be better to take a taxi because it is 2 km away from the museum. The person in the museum may help you to call a taxi if you request. Of course go by walk is also possible (This was my choice).
